RESUMEN

El Factor de Crecimiento Hepático (HGF del inglés "Hepatic Growth Factor") es un mediador de comunicación celular (MCC) con una función escencial en la biología y patobiología de las células epiteliales y otras líneas tales como las hematoinmunes, neurales y musculares; con roles fisiológicos en especificación, mantenimiento y tropismo, comprometimiento, proliferación, migración, invasión normal, diferenciación, maduración, y regeneración celular. Es también vital su disregulación en el cáncer. Es el objetivo de este artículo hacer una revisión actual del tema.

ABSTRACT

The Hepatic Growth Factor (HGF) is a cellular comunication molecule mediator with an escential function in epithelial cell biology and pathobiology, and equally for other cell lines, such as hemato-immune, muscular and neuronal cells. With physiologic activities in cellular specification, commiment, proliferation, migration, normal invasion, differentiation, maduration, maintenance, trophism, and regeneration. It’s misfunction is also fundamental in cancer. The objetive of this article is to make an actualized review of the theme.
