ABSTRACT
The objective was to focus on the aids epidemic, identify the attitudinal barriers that put Disabled People (DP) in terms of vulnerability to HIV infection and discuss the National Health Policy for People with Disabilities concerning to actions to the prevention, control and increase access of DP-care services to STD / aids. Justification lack of interest of DP for the prevention of STD / aids, lack of studies on sexual / reproductive health of these individuals. It was analyzed 18 texts. Methodology:
it was used bibliographic access and virtual in the databases LILACS, MEDLINE, COCHRANE, SCIELO, and Website of NGOs and the Ministry of Health.Results:
advance of the aids with feminization of the epidemic, sexuality and vulnerability denial of DP to aids. Fragmentation of health policy for these people.Conclusion:
aids prevention depends on behavioral change related to sexuality and drug addiction. The DP are considered asexual and immune to aids; health policy focused on the universality and integrality, including attention to sexual and reproductive health of DP, but access to the system is hampered by architectural and attitudinal barriers.RESUMO
Objetivou-se enfocar a epidemia da aids, identificar as barreiras atitudinais que colocam as PcD em condições de vulnerabilidade à infecção pelo HIV e discutir a Política Nacional de Saúde da Pessoa Portadora de Deficiência no concernente a ações de prevenção, controle e ampliação do acesso das PcD aos serviços de atendimento às DST/aids. Justificativa:
desinteresse das PcD pela prevenção das DSTs/aids; escassez de estudos sobre saúde sexual/reprodutiva desses indivíduos. Analisaram-se 18 textos.Metodologia:
acesso bibliográfico manual e virtual nas bases de dados LILACS, MEDLINE, COCHRANE, SCIELO, e em Website de ONGs e do Ministério da Saúde.Resultados:
avanço da aids com feminização da epidemia, negação da sexualidade e da vulnerabilidade das PcD à aids. Fragmentação da política de saúde para estas pessoas.Conclusão:
a prevenção da aids depende da mudança comportamental relacionada com a sexualidade e a drogadição. As PcD são consideradas assexuadas e imunes a aids; política de saúde centrada na universalidade e integralidade, incluindo atenção a saúde sexual e reprodutiva das PcD, mas o acesso ao sistema é dificultado pelas barreiras arquitetônicas e atitudinais.
