ABSTRACT
Objectives:
The aims were to reflect on the policies for disabled people based on principlist bioethics and discuss the applicability of the principles to collectivities.Method:
It was conducted a systematic review in BVS-WHO and PubMed using the keywords Principle-Based Ethics, Public Policy and Disabled Persons in the Medical Subject Headings.Results:
It was selected seven studies. It was found that there are few studies addressing the studied topic and bioethics, hindering the development of strategies and decision making in health; and that principlism is limited to the context of poor countries and is little suggestive for populations.Conclusion:
To the reality of developing countries, should be prioritized bioethics of protection and intervention, and in Brazil, the principles that should be dealt with are those advocated by the Unified Health SystemRESUMO
Objetivos:
Objetivou-se refletir sobre as políticas para as Pessoas com Deficiência baseado na Bioética Principialista e discutir a aplicabilidade dos princípios para coletividades.Método:
Realizou-se revisão sistemática na BVS e no PubMed, utilizando os descritores Principle-Based Ethics, Public Policy e Disabled Persons no Medical Subject Headings.Resultados:
Foram selecionados sete artigos. Verificou-se que existem poucos trabalhos abordando a temática estudada e a bioética, dificultando a elaboração de estratégias e tomadas de decisão em saúde; e que o principialismo apresenta limitações para o contexto de países pobres e é pouco sugestivo para populações.Conclusão:
Para a realidade dos países subdesenvolvidos deve-se priorizar a bioética de proteção e de intervenção; e no Brasil, os princípios que devem ser trabalhados são os preconizados pelo Sistema Único de Saúde
