RESUMO
A pesquisa teve como objeto de estudo os motivos que levam o alcoolista a buscar a prevenção da recaída do alcoolismo e como

objetivos:

identificar os motivos que levam o alcoolista a buscar a prevenção da recaída do alcoolismo; analisar os motivos alegados pelos alcoolistas na busca da prevenção da recaída do alcoolismo; discutir as possibilidades de intervenção da equipe multiprofissional a fim de auxiliar na prevenção da recaída do alcoolismo. Tratou-se de um estudo descritivo, de abordagem qualitativa, utilizando-se da técnica de análise temática para tratamento dos dados. Foram organizados grupos focais visando a obtenção de dados, em reuniões realizadas na Secretaria Municipal de Saúde e Defesa Civil do Rio de Janeiro (SMSDC-RJ) e no Centro de Ensino, Pesquisa e Referência em Alcoologia e Adictologia (CEPRAL/HESFA/UFRJ) onde realizavam tratamento trinta e um alcoolistas, cujos depoimentos foram gravados em MP3 no período de julho a setembro de 2009, com anuência dos depoentes, respeitando a Resolução n° 196/96. A pesquisa foi aprovada pelo Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa (CEP) da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde e Defesa Civil do Rio de Janeiro sob protocolo nº 25/09 e pelo CEP da Escola de Enfermagem Anna Nery (EEAN) / HESFA / UFRJ sob protocolo nº 031/2007...
ABSTRACT
The study object of the research was the reasons that conduces thealcoholist to look for the prevention of the relapse on the alcoholism; analyzingthe reasons mentioned by the alcoholists on the search for the prevention of the relapse on the alcoholism; discussing the possibilities of intervention of the multiprofessional team with a view to aiding on the prevention of the relapse on the alcoholism. It is about a descriptive study of qualitative approach, using thetechnique of content analysis for data treatment. Focal groups have beenorganized aiming at the data obtaining, on meetings carried out on the Municipal Secretary of Health and Civil Defense of Rio de Janeiro (SMSDC-RJ)and on the Teaching, Research and Reference Unit on Alcohology andAddictology (CEPRAL/HESFA/UFRJ) where thirty one alcoholists carried out atreatment, whose statements were recorded on MP3 in the period of July theSeptember of 2009, with the consent of the deponents, respecting the Resolution N° 196/96.
