RESUMO

Com a promulgação da Lei 775 / 49 a Escola de Enfermagem Anna Nery perde a prerrogativa de Escola Oficial Padrão, título este conferido com o decreto nº 20. 109/31,onde todas as escolas de enfermagem deveriam equiparar – se a Escola Oficial Padrão. Objeto a luta simbólica empreendida pela Escola de Enfermagem Anna Nery (EEAN) para assegurar sua posição de poder e prestígio no campo da educação em enfermagem, após a promulgação da Lei 775, em 6 de agosto de 1949. Objetivos: Descrever a configuração do campo da educação em enfermagem no contexto da promulgação da Lei 775 / 49; analisar as estratégias empreendidas pela Escola de Enfermagem Anna Nery diante da promulgação da Lei 775/49; discutir os resultados dessas estratégias para a Escola de Enfermagem Anna Nery no que concerne (ao realinhamento) à sua posição no campo da educação em enfermagem. As fontes primárias, pertencentes ao Centro de Documentação da Escola de Enfermagem Anna Nery, foram constituídas de documentos escritos e três fotografias que foram analisadas relativas ao tema e ao recorte temporal do estudo. ABSTRACT

With the enactment of Law 775 / 49 School of Nursing Anna Nery loses the prerogative of the School Journal Standard, this title given to the decree No. 20. 109/31, where all the schools of nursing should match - if the School Journal Standard.
