Tratamento restaurador estético com sistema cerâmico / Esthetic restorative treatment with ceramic system

RESUMO

As cerâmicas se apresentam como uma excelente alternativa na reabilitação estética e, por possuírem propriedades mecânicas satisfatórias e propriedades ópticas semelhantes às da estrutura dentária, possibilitam reproduzir um sorriso harmonioso e com naturalidade. O objetivo deste trabalho é relatar o restabelecimento do dossiro com sistema cerâmico, mediante a confecção de nove coroas nos dentes superiores. A paciente, com 49 anos de idade, procurou atendimento queixando-se da aparência estética de seu sorriso. Ao exame clínico, verificaram-se extensas restaurações deficientes em resina composta nos dentes 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 21, 22, 24 e 25. Com a finalidade de obter resultado estético e funcional, optou-se pela confecção de nove coroas totais unitárias, com o sistema cerâmico IPS Empress 2. Inicialmente, realizou-se enceramento diagnóstico, confecção de guia de silicone e ensaio restaurador Mock up. Após o planejamento, realizou-se o preparo dos dentes, a moldagem pela técnica do fio duplo com poliéter e as restaurações provisórias. Na sessão seguinte, após o tratamento das superfícies das coroas, as restaurações foram cimentadas com RelyX U100, seguido do ajuste final da oclusão e polimento das restaurações. O resultado final mostrou uma estética natural e funcional, e apresentou uma integração harmoniosa das restaurações com o sorriso da paciente.

ABSTRACT

Ceramic presents as an excellent alternative for esthetic rehabilitation, because it has adequate mechanical properties and optical properties similar to teeth structure and it can produce a harmonious and natural smile. The aim of this work is to report the recuperation of the smile with ceramic system, by means of confection of nine crowns in the maxillary teeth. A 49-year-old female patient presented with chief complaint of esthetic appearance of the smile. Through clinical examination, it was observed extensive deficient restorations in composite resin in the teeth 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 21, 22, 24 and 25. In order to obtain esthetic and functional results it was opted for confection of nine unitary crowns with the ceramic system IPS Empress 2. Initially was made an diagnosis waxing, confection of silicone guide and mock up restorer rehearsal. After planning, the preparations of the teeth, the moulding of double-wire technique with polyether and the provisional restorations were performed. In the next session, after treatment of the crowns' surfaces, restorations were cemented with RelyX U100, followed by final occlusion adjustment and polishing of restorations. The final result showed a natural and functional esthetic, and presented a smooth integration of the restorations with the patient's smile.
