Nuevos teatros, viejos temores / New theatres, old fears

RESUMEN

Los diversos estilos que fue adoptando la sexualidad adolescente desde su aparición dependieron de los movimientos significantes que se produjeron al interior del imaginario social de cada momento histórico. No obstante, estos movimientos significantes y sus consecuentes modificaciones en las conductas sexuales adolescentes se expresaron a través del imaginario adolescente. Esta idea se fundamenta en que no hay modos de representar, de sentir, de pensar, y de hacer que no tengan una raigambre social, cultural, e histórica. Para validar estas aseveraciones se toma como modelo a la producción cinematográfica, en tanto recibe y transmite los valores e ideales que circulan en la cultura de cada época. Asimismo, se aborda la iniciación en la sexualidad genital en relación con las vicisitudes que se registran en el frágil narcisismo adolescente, en el marco de la subjetividad de fin de milenio. Esta refleja los cambios ocurridos en el ámbito de lo público y lo privado a través de las nuevas maneras de concebir los sentimientos pudor y vergüenza.

ABSTRACT

The different styles that adolescent sexuality has been adopting since itsappearance depended on the significant movements produced in the SocialImaginary of each historical time. However, those significant movements and their consequent modifications in the adolescents’ sexual behaviour wereexpressed through the Adolescent Imaginary. This idea is based on the factthat there are no ways of representing, feeling, thinking and doing that are notsocial, cultural and historically rooted. In order to confirm these statementsI will use cinematographic production as a model, since films receive and convey the cultural values and ideals of every time. I will also tackle the genital sexuality initiation related to the vicissitudes that are present in theadolescents’ fragile narcissism, within the subjectivity related to the end of the millennium. Such subjectivity reflects the changes occurring in the public and private spheres, through the new ways of conceiving the feelings of embarrassment and shame.
