Espelho, espelho meu, existe alguém mais bela do que eu?: uma reflexão sobre o valor do corpo na atualidade e a construção da subjetividade feminina / A view on the value of the nowadays body and the construction of female subjectivity

RESUMO

Este artigo tem por objetivo refletir sobre a construção da subjetividade feminina e os sentidos produzidos a partir do valor que o corpo assume na atualidade, tendo como aporte teórico a psicanálise. Para tanto, discute-se a influência da mídia, especialmente da publicidade, na concepção dos valores do corpo feminino na contemporaneidade, bem como o valor que lhe é conferido na sociedade atual pautada pelo consumismo e a “moral do espetáculo”. Após a reflexão dos elementos tratados conclui-se que o modo de a mulher relacionar-se com seu corpo corresponde ao desejo de obter o olhar do outro. Assim, será na busca desse olhar que o sujeito feminino constrói sua subjetividade.

ABSTRACT

This article aims to reflect on the construction of female subjectivity and the meanings produced from the amount that the body assumes in actuality, with the contribution theoric of psychoanalysis. The influence of media is discussed, especially in advertising, design values of contemporary female body as well as the value conferred upon it in our current society ruled by consumerism and "morality of the spectacle." After the reflection of the elements treated concluded that the manner of women relate to their body is the desire to obtain the gaze of the Other. Thus, it will be in the search of this gaze that the female subject built her subjectivity.
