RESUMO

Objetivo:

Descrever as possibilidades de intervenção profissional diante das implicações durante tratamentoambulatorial para o paciente alcoolista.

Métodos:

Pesquisa qualitativa com técnica de análise de conteúdo eentrevista semi-estruturada, no Centro de Apoio ao Dependente Químico, com 17 profissionais. Para a obtenção dos dados, utilizou-se um roteiro de entrevista com perguntas semi-estruturadas enfocando dados pessoais dos profissionais e o tema a ser pesquisado.

Resultados:

As possibilidades de intervençãoidentificadas na pesquisa foram estabelecer objetivos e metas; participação nos grupos; estabelecer vínculo terapêutico; valorizar o paciente; intervenção junto à família; rede de apoio social; intervenção espiritual, entre outras.

Conclusão:

Faz-se necessário a contribuição do alcoolista, dos familiares e da equipe para que as intervenções tornem o tratamento eficaz e promissor.
ABSTRACT

Objective:

To describe the possibilities of professional intervention in consequence of the implicationsduring the alcoholic patient´s treatment in the outpatient service.

Methods:

This is a qualitative study comprising techniques of content analysis and semi-structured interview with seventeen professionals in a Supporting Center for Chemical Addicts. Data were obtained using an outlined interview with semi-structured questions focusing personal information from professionals and the researched theme.

Results:

Interventionpossibilities identified in the research were to establish objectives and goals; group participation; to establishtherapeutic link; patient-focused therapy; to enhance the patient´s life; family intervention; social and spiritualnetwork interventions, among other issues.

Conclusion:

It is necessary the contribution of the alcoholic patients, their family members and the multidisciplinary team, consequently, the treatment interventions can be effective and possible.
