RESUMEN
En el presente documento se describe como se realiza la calificación sanitaria de las playas en el Perú, a través del Índice de Calidad Sanitaria de las Playas, donde se emplea para su cálculo tres criterios de calificación control de la calidad microbiológica del agua de mar; control de la limpieza, donde se trabaja con dos variables, la limpieza de la playa y la presencia de recipientes para los residuos sólidos; el último criterio es el control de los servicios higiénicos
