As maravilhas de Alice: uma jornada heroica / The Alice wonders: a heroic journey

RESUMO

Sob a luz da teoria junguiana, os contos de fadas incluem temas relacionados à realização do ser humano. Assim, há uma busca do protagonista por seu centro, por sua unidade, ou seja, pelo Self. Situações, conflitos, personagens, fabulações, peripécias, entre outros elementos, correspondem a este processo de procura pela unidade interior. Assim, princesas, príncipes, bruxas, reis, rainhas, madrastas, profecias, provas e obstáculos simbolizam vivências existenciais, abrangendo situações éticas e sociais que são vividas e revividas desde os primórdios. Tais personagens representam o curso humano para chegar à autorrealização. este artigo sistematiza um conjunto de análises sobre a personagem Alice, de Lewis Carrol, apresentada no cinema por Tim Burton, que retrata a jornada interior de uma jovem para descobrir quem é, além de definir (ou redefinir) seus valores ao enfrentar situações que lhe pedem, além de coragem, autenticidade. Sua trajetória retrata a jornada da heroína, que representa a transformação e ampliação da consciência, além da superação dos complexos maternos e paternos que dificultam o desenvolvimento do potencial de uma mulher

ABSTRACT

In the Jungian theory, fairy tales include themes related to the fulfillment of the human being. The protagonist searches for their center and for their unity, in other words, for the Self. Circumstances, conflicts, characters, fables and adventures, among other elements, correspond to the process of looking for the unity. Thus, princesses, princes, witches, kings, queens, stepmothers, prophecies, evidence and experiences symbolize existencial obstacles, including ethical and social situations which the protagonist lives and relives from the beginning. These characters represent the paths to reach human self-fulfillment. This article explores a series os analyzis on the character Alice, by Lewis Carroll, presented by Tim Burton's film, which portrays the inner journey of a young woman to find out who she is and to define (or redefine) her values when put face to face with situations that require courage and authenticity. Her trajectory depicts the journey of heroine, which represents the transformation and expansion of consciousness and the overcoming of maternal and paternal complexes that hinder the development of the potential of a woman
