RESUMEN
Se sistematizó la experiencia de una práctica académica realizada durante la formación de un grupo de estudiantes del programa de nutrición y dietética en la seccional Urabá de la Universidad de Antioquia, Colombia. Objetivo:
identificar, a partir de la reflexión crítica, aspectos significativos del proceso realizado en los cursos de práctica social, que contribuyeron a la formación profesional de los estudiantes.Metodología:
se definió colectivamente la pregunta orientadora; un grupo de estudiantes lideró la recolección y el análisis de información. Las fuentes básicas de información fueron los diarios de campo y las relatorías de los momentos de evaluación. El análisis llevó a la construcción del sistema categorial que fue validado con todo el grupo de estudiantes.Resultados:
las categorías más relevantes representan los aportes identificados como significativos durante la práctica social y se denominaron aprendizajes, planeación y reconocerse a sí mismo.Discusión yconclusión:
la práctica y la sistematización propiciaron que los estudiantes reflexionaran acerca de sus potencialidades en su futuro como profesionales, reconocieran sus capacidades, se ubicaran en su rol profesional y se acercaran a realidades de su contexto.ABSTRACT
We systematized an experience of a community-based internship (social practice) carried out by a group of students of the School of Nutrition and Dietetics at Universidad de Antioquia developed in a community in a region of Colombia (Uraba). Objective:
identify, since the critical reflection, significant aspects of the process carried out in the social practice courses which contributed to the professional training of the students.Methodology:
the guiding question was collectively defined; the gathering and the analysis of information were lead by a group of students. Basic information sources were the field diaries and the reports of the evaluation time. The analysis brought us to the categorical system construction, which was validated with the students.Results:
the most relevant categories represented the contributions identified as significant during the social practice, and they were named learning, planning and recognition of one-self. Discussion andconclusion:
the practice and its systematization promoted that students reflected about their potentialities in their future as professionals, recognized their abilities, identified themselves in their professional role, and took interest on the realities of their context.
