Histórias de vida marcadas por humilhação, assédio moral e adoecimento no trabalho / Stories of life marked by humiliation, mobbing and illness at work

RESUMO

Este artigo tem como objetivo discutir o relato de vivências de humilhação e de sofrimento de trabalhadoras que participaram de um grupo terapêutico com histórias de adoecimento no trabalho. O estudo de caráter qualitativo propôs-se desenvolver encontros em grupo fundamentado na proposta de Barros (1997) na constituição de grupos terapêuticos como dispositivo analítico. A discussão fundamenta-se nos relatos de trabalhadoras com histórias de humilhação, constrangimento e sentimentos nutridos de ressentimento vivenciados no trabalho. A análise das histórias de vida no trabalho mostra que, no caso dessas trabalhadoras, as habilidades, a criatividade e a dedicação ao trabalho foram sendo obstruídas pelas situações desqualificantes da submissão à chefia e da falta de autonomia, situações que levaram a uma maior exposição aos riscos de adoecimento no trabalho. Com a capacidade produtiva limitada, a trabalhadora torna-se alvo frequente de situações de humilhação e constrangimento - compondo um quadro de assédio moral no trabalho.

ABSTRACT

This article aims to discuss the report of experiences of humiliation and suffering of workers who participated in a therapeutic group with stories of illness at work. The qualitative study set out to develop group meetings based on the proposal of Barros (1997) in the establishment of therapeutic groups as analytical device. The discussion is based on reports of workers who shared the stories of humiliation, embarrassment and feelings of resentment nourished through experiences at work. The analysis of life stories in the paper shows that, for these workers, skills, creativity and dedication to work were being obstructed by disqualifying circumstances, the submission to leadership and lack of autonomy, situations that lead to greater exposure to risk of illness at work. Once with the limited production capacity, the worker becomes, then, a frequent target of situations of humiliation and embarrassment - composing a picture of mobbing at work.
