RESUMO
Este artigo ensaia alguns passos na direção da dimensão ética do processo de ensinar e aprender, com a ajuda do pensamento de Emmanuel Lévinas. A noção de alteridade radical permite pensar o desejo de aprender como uma modalidade do desejo, que depende justamente daquilo que muitas vezes se busca suprimir o contato, pelo discurso, com as coisas que se dão como excedente de sentido e que, por isso, são estranhas e inassimiláveis. Ideais de planejamento e cálculo do conteúdo a ser ensinado favorecem tal supressão. Assim, é possível suspeitar que esses ideais também respondem pelo enfraquecimento do desejo de aprender.(AU)
ABSTRACT
This article gives some steps towards the ethics direction of the teaching and learning process with the help of Emanuel Lévinas›thought. The notion of radical alterity makes us think the desire of learning as a kind of desire which depends of what many times we try to supress the contact through speech with the things that happen as surplus of sense and that, for this reason are strange and inassimilable. The ideals of planning and estimation of the content to be taught favor such suppression. Thus, it is possible to think that these ideals also account for the weakening of the desire to learn.(AU)
