ABSTRACT
The adhesively bonded fiber reinforced composite posts (FRCP) play an important role in the contemporary restorative dentistry treatment, being considered as substitutes for prefabricated or cast metal posts. The aim of this article is to review the existing literature regarding FRCP, the available cement options and their adhesive strategy, along with the inherent difficulties to root canal cementation.
