Objective:
to analyze the influence of the teaching method on the development of four different tactical intentions taught in the same lesson unit. Methods:
14 boys aged between ten and thirteen years old initially participated on this investigation. They were attending handball classes in a public school in Ijuí-RS. Only five of them fulfilled the requirements for performance analysis. Data collectionwas carried out through the video recording of the students in game situation and a questionnaire formedby didactic tasks. The recording happened in two moments, before the beginning of the classes and after the end of the unit. To make the evaluation of childrens technical and tactical behavior possible the methodology of performance analysis proposed by Méndez-Giménez (1998) was used. Results:
The students presented statistically significant difference (p <0,05), between the first and the secondevaluation, in technical and tactical behaviors in the four sub-roles analyzed. Conclusion:
it is possible to suggest the possibility of development of four different didactical contents in the same lesson unit.Key words
