RESUMO
Os autores apresentam o trabalho desenvolvido durante um ano pelo Internato Rural da Faculdade de Ciências Médicas de Minas Gerais (FCMMG) nos distritos de lpoema e Senhora do Carmo, município de ltabira. Destacam as atividades de integração entre o Internato Rural e o Programa de Agentes Comunitários de Saúde. Utilizam a assistên- cia pré-natal e a prevenção do câncer de colo uterino como parâme- tros para análise da atenção à saúde da mulher nas localidades assis- tidas. Constatam a realização de 10.758 visitas domiciliares pelos agentes comunitários de saúde e de 2.939 consultas clínicas atendi- das pelos acadêmicos de medicína. Verificam um progressivo aumen- to no número de consultas de pré-natal e de exames de cítologia oncótica do colo uterino. Encerram comentando sobre o programa de saúde da família na prática do Internato Rural.
ABSTRACT
The authors present the proceedings developed during one year by the Rural Probation of Medicine of the Faculdade de Ciências Médicas de Minas Gerais (FCMMG) in the districts of Ipoema and Senhora do Carmo, in ltabira town. Activities of integration of Rural Probation and Heallth Community Agents' Program are outstanding. They use the prenatal assistence and prevention of carcinoma of the uterine cervix as a parameter to analyse the attention given to woman health on the sites assisted. 10758 domiciliary visits were done by the health community aggents and 2939 clinical appointments by the medicine srudents. Evidence of ptogressive gtowth in the nurnber of prenatal appointments as well as of oncologic cytologycal smears of uterine cervix. They close with cornrnenrs about rhe Family Health Program in the Rural Probation practice.
