RESUMEN
Se presenta el caso de un paciente con absceso hepático único del lóbulo izquierdo por Salmonella dublin al cual se le practicó drenaje quirúrgico. El diagnóstico etiológico microbiano se realizó por cultivo del contenido del absceso y hemocultivo. El paciente recibió tratamiento antimicrobiano con Cefoperazona, Metronidazol y Gentamicina, egresando a los 29 días del post operatorio
