[Rubella in Rio de Janeiro: a four year (1973--1976) sero-epidemiologic study in young women (author's transl)]. / Rubéola no Rio de Janeiro: um estudo soro-epidemiológico por quatro anos (1973--1976) em mulheres jovens.

We did 2,707 hemagglutination inhibition reactions in 2,574 young women's sera (26.5 +/- 5 years old). The results show that 76% of the sera had antibodies. The number of serologic convertions was higher in 1974. This finding is in accordance with other evidences of a rubella epidemic in that year.
