Vicissitudes da identificação ao pai a partir de Louise Bourgeois

RESUMO

Este trabalho discute a criação artística, a partir de conceitos do campo psicanalítico e de depoimentos da escultora franco-americana Louise Bourgeois. Inicialmente, apresenta aspectos biográficos dessa artista e se detém em uma de suas obras “A destruição do pai”. Posteriormente, fazendo um contraponto com seus fragmentos discursivos, discute os conceitos de sublimação, identidade e identificação. Por fim, analisa as relações entre o nome próprio, o nome do pai e o sinthoma, reafirmando que a obra de arte e a fama configuram a identidade do artista.

ABSTRACT

This paper discusses the artistic creation, from concepts of the psychoanalytic field and testimonies of franco-american sculptor Louise Bourgeois. Initially it presents biographical aspects of the artist and takes a look at one of her worksThe Destruction of the Father. Later, making a counterpoint with her discursive fragments, it discusses the concepts of sublimation, identity and identification. After that, it analyses the relationship between proper name, name of the father and symptom, reaffirming that the work of art and fame represents the identity of the artist.
