Escala das atividades de hábitos de lazer em jovens: modelagem de equação estrutural em diferentes contextos brasileiros / Scale of the habits of leisure activities: structural equation modeling in three cities in Brazil

RESUMO

O presente estudo pretende avaliar, considerando indicadores psicométricos mais robustos, a estrutura da escala das atividades dos hábitos de lazer. Para isso, efetuou-se uma Análise Fatorial Confirmatória (AFC) e uma análise do Modelo de Equação Estrutural (SEM) a partir do AMOS GRAFICS (versão 7.0). Três amostras, em diferentes cidades do Brasil, compuseram o estudo; em todas, jovens masculinos e femininos, do nível fundamental e médio, entre 13 e 21 anos de idade responderam a escala das atividades de hábitos de lazer. A aplicação do instrumento foi coletiva, nas salas de aula, a partir da autorização da direção da escola e dos professores. Observou-se que a escala em questão apresentou os fatores (hábitos hedonistas, lúdicos e instrutivos) já encontrados em estudo anterior, revelando critério psicométrico capaz de garantir a consistência e estrutura interna da escala nas três amostras.(AU)

ABSTRACT

This study aimed to evaluate the structure of scale of the habits of leisure activities from more robust psychometrics indicators. For that, a Confirmatory Factorial Analysis (AFC) and an analysis of the Structural Equation Model (SEM) from AMOS GRAFICS (version 7.0) were made. Three samples from different cities of the Brazilian participated in the study; in all of the studies, the scale of the habits of leisure activities was applied to young male and female students, from middle school up to high school, aged between 13 and 21 years old. The application of the instrument was collective, in classrooms, with the permission of the school board and teachers. It was observed that the scale showed the three factors (Hedonistic habits, playful and instructive) already found in the exploratory study, showing a rather more robust and reliable psychometric criteria, capable of ensuring the consistency and internal structure of the scale in the three samples.(AU)
