Trauma e cuidado na constituição psíquica de uma jovem estudante de Medicina / Trauma and care in the psychic constitution of a young medical student

RESUMO

O presente trabalho propõe uma reflexão sobre o papel de uma constituição subjetiva traumática na escolha de uma profissão caracterizada pelo cuidado com o outro. Para tal, as ideias de Sándor Ferenczi e Donald Winnicott foram eleitas para a compreensão do material produzido por uma jovem estudante de Medicina com base em procedimentos-projetivos gráficos e de uma entrevista semidirigida. Por meio de seus relatos, especialmente acerca da carência em cuidados parentais e do despontamento em alto grau de uma personalidade intelectualizada e pouco sensível, depreende-se uma maturação marcada pela clivagem defensiva da personalidade. Tal condição estaria relacionada à propensão ao cuidado com o outro que, ao lado da importância identificatória que os profissionais da área médica foram investidos na infância da jovem estudante, teve influência admitida em sua escolha profissional.(AU)

ABSTRACT

This work proposes a reflection on the role of a traumatic subjective constitution in the choice of a profession marked by the care with the other. For such, the ideas of Sándor Ferenczi and Donald Winnicott were elected for the comprehension of the material produced by a young Medicine student through a semi-directed interview. From her reports, especially about the lack of parental care and the high degree development of an intellectualized and rather insensitive personality, a maturation marked by the defensive cleavage of the personality. Such condition would be related to the propension of caring with the other that, along with the identificatory importance that the medical professionals were invested in the childhood of the young student, had an admitted influence in her professional choice.(AU)
