ABSTRACT
The text proposes to revisit the Sandy case a classic of psychoanalysis with children -, a case of phobia in a two and a half years old child, presented by Anneliese Schnurmann in Anna Freuds seminar in 1946, and comented by Lacan in O seminário, livro 4, a relação de objeto in 1956-1957. The detailed description of case by Schnurmann is used to highlight, with Lacan, the distinction between the time of recognition of the anatomical difference between the sexes, the sexes, the traumatic encounter with the maternal privation and the time of outbreak of the phobia. It still uses the concept of phobic object in Lacans work to check that this object protects against anxiety(AU)
