Ensaio sobre a conduta ética na abordagem centrada na pessoa / Essay on ethical behavior in the person-centered approach

RESUMO

O texto examina os rumos da produção dos estudos brasileiros da Abordagem Centrada na Pessoa (acadêmicos ou não) para fomentar uma reflexão sobre a evolução da prática desde os trabalhos científicos de Carl R. Rogers. A herança do trabalho pioneiro de Rogers nos obriga reconhecer a necessidade de continuar a busca para um conhecimento mais científico da nossa prática. Diretrizes federais para protocolos de pesquisa com seres humanos nos obrigam a repensar nossos sistemas atuais de coleta de dados, a autonomia anterior utilizada em nossos estudos bem como a necessidade de debater possíveis requisitos a apresentação de pesquisa, artigos e relatórios em congressos, seminários e outros eventos na Abordagem. O texto destaca a importância de criar espaços em eventos regionais e nacionais para lidar com questões éticas críticas, tanto na psicoterapia quanto na produção de trabalhos escritos.(AU)

ABSTRACT

The text examines the directions of the production of studies in the person-centered approach (academics or not) in Brazil attempting to encourage reflection on the evolution of the practice since the scientific work of Carl R. Rogers. The legacy of the pioneering work of Rogers obliges us to recognize the need to continue the search for a scientific knowledge of our practice. Federal guidelines in Brazil for research with human protocols oblige us to rethink our current systems of data collection, the previous autonomy of our studies as well as the need to discuss possible requirements for the presentation of research articles and reports in conferences, seminars and other events in the Person-Centered Approach. The text also highlights the importance of creating space in national and regional events for dealing with critical ethical issues, both in psychotherapy and in the production of written work.(AU)
