ABSTRACT

The paper gives an account of the content, major process and application fields of project management and cites two actual cases of its application business process reengineering in the procurement of equipment and establishment of a comprehensive benefit evaluation system. It argues that project management, characterized by practicability and scientificalness, renders it possible to make the best use of limited resources to carry out and complete an assigned task within a fixed time frame. The paper also stresses the importance of systematization, clarity and team work when applying project management so as to further enhance hospital management.
