ABSTRACT

Objective:

To observe the clinical effect of integrated Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of acquired paralytic strabismus.

Methods:

76 cases of acquired paralytic strabismus patients were randomly divided into control group and treatment group, 38 cases in each group. The control group was treated with ligustrazine HCl-iontophoresis in combination of Western medicine. Based on the therapy of the treatment group, the control group were treated with acupuncture.

Results:

The total effect of the treatment group was 94.74% (36/38), while the control group 81.58% (31/38). There was significant difference in statistics(P
