ABSTRACT
Objective:
To investigate explore Lumbar disc herniation in senile multi-segment posterior decompression and discectomy.Methods:
To select from 62 to 85 years old were treated in our hospital from September 2007 to October 2012 for surgical treatment of 80 patients with senile multi-segmental lumbar disc herniation were divided into two groups, 62-year-old to 70-year-old group, by age, 71-year-old to 85-year-old group, choose the right posterior decompression and discectomy disc disease in each patient location, type, etc. surgical approach, adopt the intervertebral unilateral fenestration decompression discectomy patients 45 cases; bilateral laminectomy discectomy patients 18 cases;dual intervertebral unilateral half laminectomy excisionpatients 17 cases.Results:
Surgical treatment of the two groups of patients with different ages compared to the excellent 62-year-old to 70-year-old patients was significantly higher than the excellent 71-year-old to 85-year-old patients.Conclusion:
Surgery is effective treatment of senile multi-segmental lumbar disc herniation, the efficacy of elderly patients older than younger elderly patients.
