The diagnostic value of historical features in migraine / 重庆医科大学学报

ABSTRACT

Objective:

To study the history of migraineurs,and find out the historical features which have higher value in migraine diagnosis and differential diagnosis.

Method:

250 patients who have primary headache were chosen in this study(include 117 migraineurs),each patient,s history was taked in detail,then each historical feature,s diagnostic value were analysised using statistic method.

Results:

In all the historical features that we studied pain exacerbated by activity,pain throbbing,disability,phonophobia, nausea,photophobia,pain on oneside,all have high sensitivity and high specificity.

Conclusion:

Known the sensitivity and specificity of each historical features,can help us to diagnose migraine rapidly and accurately.
