Effectiveness of massage-presspoint methodin treating oligogalactia on women after delivery 5 months

ABSTRACT

Background:

Feeding baby by mother\u2019s breast milk play an important role in primary health care.

Objectives:

To assess the effectiveness of improving secretion of mother\u2019s milk by massage-presspoint method through several clinical indicators. Subjects and

method:

33 mothers suffering oligogalactia after 5 months of delivery were applied the method of massage-presspoint. The technique was performed on Giap Tich points from D1-TL3, one time per day with 30 minutes of each time and treatment period of 20 days. The opened clinical and comparing pre-post treatment methods were used in the study.

Results:

50% of good results, 36,67% of better and 13,33% of failure.

Conclusion:

The method of massage \ufffd?presspoint can improve the secretion of mother\u2019sbreast milk, which were evidenced through some clinical indicators measuring on mothers and babies feeding mother\u2019s milk.
