ABSTRACT
Most patients with primary hepatic carcinoma (PHC) have been in the terminal stage when being diagnosed and miss the opportunities of radical resection. The combined treatment of transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE) has become a major treatment for patients with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma. In recent years,TACE combined with 125I particles implantation has prolonged the survival of PHC patients and improved the life quality, which provides a new method for PHC treatment. This review summarizes the clinical application and research of this treatment method.
