The update interpretation of 2020 EAU guidelines on bladder cancer (Part Ⅲ) / 中华泌尿外科杂志

ABSTRACT

It has been recently published for the 2020 version guideline of Upper Tract Urothelial Carcinoma (UTUC) by European Association of Urology (EAU), and there’re several updates to compare with the previous versions ①The exposure to the aristolochic acid should be evaluated and patients with the Lynch syndrome are at risk for UTUC; ②A template-based lymphadenectomy and the peri-operative chemotherapy are important in treating patients with muscle-invasive UTUC; ③Recent evidences have been demonstrated for treatment of the metastatic disease and the first- and second-line treatments are proposed. This paper is to introduce and summarize the main changing points of the guideline.
