ABSTRACT
Acetabular fracture is a complex intra-articular injury. With the increasing incidence in recent years, the complications after internal fixation of acetabular fracture are increasing year by year, such as traumatic arthritis of the hip, avascular necrosis of the femoral head, redisplacement of fracture and heterotopic ossification, etc., resulting in joint pain, limited activity, the quality of life of patients is seriously affected. Nowadays, many studies have focused on total hip arthroplasty (THA) in the treatment of postoperative complications of acetabular fractures, and its curative effect is fully affirmed. By studying the efficacy of THA in the treatment of postoperative complications of acetabular fracture, we can have a more comprehensive understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of THA in the diseases, and provide a new perspective for the treatment of the diseases.This paper reviews the efficacy of THA in the treatment of postoperative complications of acetabular fracture in recent years, providing help for follow-up clinical work and research.
