ABSTRACT
Lung cancer is the most common malignant tumor in the elderly population.Due to the lack of sufficient clinical trial data for elderly patients, it is difficult to develop anti-tumor programs for this population.Currently, the most commonly used clinical evaluation methods cannot accurately predict the drug tolerance and survival of elderly patients during the course of antitumor therapy.Geriatric assessment and its related simple scale, as a brief assessment before anti-tumor treatment, can help clinicians better understand the health status of patients and individual survival rate, and can guide clinicians to formulate reasonable treatment plans and interventions.
