ABSTRACT

Deep neck space infections arise from odontogenic septic focus, as well as from infections of the tonsils, parotid gland, pharynx and any other head and neck spaces. These infections may have a rapid onset and may progress to life threatening complications, therefore, it is of paramount importance that clinicians acknowledge and manage it well.
