Pénfigo vegetante. Presentación de un caso / Pemphigus vegetans. Presentation of a case

RESUMEN

Se presenta un caso de pénfigo vegetante, el cual es poco frecuente; se enfatiza la importancia de diferenciar las variantes, Hallopeau y Neumann, por las implicancias pronósticas y terapéuticas que ello conlleva. El caso que se presenta es subtipo Neumann, diagnosticado por la clínica, lesiones ampollares con signo de Nikolsky positivo y la histopatología característica de esta enfermedad. Esta paciente fue tratada al combinar esteroides con el inmunosupresor azatioprina. Se alcanzó la remisión a los cuatro meses de estadía en sala y su seguimiento por consulta externa permitió afirmar su evolución satisfactoria (AU)

ABSTRACT

A case of pemphigus vegetans is presented which is little frequent; it emphasizes the importance to differentiate the variants, Hallopeau and Neumann, by the prognosticate and therapeutic implications that this entail. This presented case is Neumann subtype, diagnosed by the clinic, crusted lesions with positive Nikolsky sign and pathology characteristic of this disease. This patient was treated combining steroids with azathioprine. It was reached the referral four months of staying in room and her monitoring by outpatient clinics it allows to affirm her satisfactory evolution (AU)
