ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the effects of iodine on the pathogenesis of Graves′ disease (GD). Methods The thyroid epithelium cells (TEC) from GD patients and para adenoma normal tissue from thyroid adenoma patients wereculturedrespectivelywithdifferentNaⅠconcentrations from 0 to 1 mg/L. The HLA DR expression of TEC was detected with Western blot. Meanwhile, the morphological change of TEC was observed after treatment of NaⅠ by scanning electronmicroscope (SEM).
