Registros da equipe multiprofissional sobre o acompanhamento de pacientes em estágio avançado de doença oncológica / Records of the multiprofessional team on the follow-up of patients with advanced stage of cancer disease

RESUMO

Este estudo objetivou caracterizar os registros da equipe multiprofissional de uma unidade de alta complexidade especializada sobre o acompanhamento do paciente com doença oncológica em estágio avançado. O objeto de estudo foram os prontuários dos pacientes que frequentavam o serviço. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, retrospectivo, com análise quantitativa. Realizou-se a coleta de dados através de análise documental, utilizando-se um instrumento estruturado. Encontrou-se que a maioria (75%) eram mulheres, com idade entre 20 a 59 anos (52%), diagnosticados há mais de três anos (54%). O principal tipo de câncer foi de mama (57%), seguido pelo de próstata (14%). Os resultados demonstraram maior enfoque da equipe multiprofissional nas anotações exclusivas das competências técnicas. Observouse que características importantes da convivência com a doença oncológicas foram esquecidas nas anotações. O estudo tornou evidente que o atendimento da equipe seria mais eficaz se o prontuário servisse como instrumento de comunicação multiprofissional, considerando as necessidades do doente que não estão contidas em uma ficha de avaliação pré-estruturada.

ABSTRACT

This study aimed to characterize the records of the multiprofessional team of a unit of high complexity specialized on the follow up of the patient with advanced oncologic disease. The study subjects were the medical records of patients who attended the service. This is a descriptive, retrospective study with quantitative analysis. Data were collected through documentary analysis, using a structured instrument. It was found that the majority (75%) were women, aged between 20 to 59 years (52%), diagnosed more than three years ago (54%). The main type of cancer was breast (57%), followed by prostate (14%). The results showed a greater focus of the multiprofessional team in the exclusive notes of the technical competences. It was observed that important characteristics of the coexistence with oncological diseases were forgotten in the annotations. The study made it clear that staffing would be more effective if the medical record served as a multiprofessional communication tool, considering the needs of the patient that are not contained in a pre-structured evaluation form
