Valores morales y satisfacción de usuarios de salud: criterios de alumnos de medicina / Moral Values and Health Clients Satisfaction: Medicine Students Opinions

RESUMEN

Con el propósito de contribuir a aumentar la satisfacción científico técnica e interpersonal de los pacientes y sus familiares, principales usuarios de nuestros servicios asistenciales, el autor explora, como acercamiento al tema, la apreciación de 84 alumnos de quinto año de medicina, sobre el significado de los valores morales como requisito para la utilización idónea de los recursos materiales y humanos disponibles y la consecuente satisfacción ante los servicios recibidos durante su atención integral. La encuesta aplicada con formato termómetro (Likert) en escala de uno a diez, fue precedida por la narración de la situación humana de una pareja que afrontó la eclosión de una leucemia aguda, 52 años atrás, durante el servicio rural cumplimentado por el profesor. El estudio incluyó en dos grupos sucesivos, a la totalidad de alumnos asistentes a sendas conferencias sobre adicciones en el mismo semestre, sin haber asistido en el año previo a actividades docentes específicas sobre el tema de los valores y anti valores morales y su significación respectiva positiva y negativa para alcanzar los objetivos asistenciales. Los resultados fueron compatibles con estudios precedentes y la aspiración de convertir nuestras instituciones de salud en oasis de amabilidad, respeto, sensibilidad humana, comprensión, disposición de servir, solidaridad e involucración(AU)

ABSTRACT

With the aid to contribute to increase the scientific-technical satisfaction of the patients and their relatives, principal clients of our assistant services. The authors explores , as rapprochement to the theme, the appreciation of 84 Medicine 5th year students, about the meaning of moral values as a requisite for the ideal use of the available material and human resources and the consequent satisfaction as a result of the received services during his/her integral attention. The applied survey with Likert format in a scale from 1 to 10 was preceded by the narration of the human situation of a couple that face the eclosion of an acute leukemia 52 years ago during the rural service complimented by the professor. The study included in two successive groups, to the total assisted students to both lectures about addiction in the same semester, without their assistant in the previous year to specific teaching activities about the theme of values and anti moral values and its positive and negative meaning to reach the asistencial objectives. The results were compatible with previous studies and the aspiration of to turn into our institutions in an oasis of kindness, respect, human sensitivity, comprehension, disposition of serve, solidarity and to get involved(AU)
