Prática pedagógica de professores de educação física: conteúdos e abordagens pedagógicas / Pedagogical practice of physical education teachers: the contents and the pedagogical approaches

RESUMO

O objetivo geral dessa investigação foi verificar os conteúdos e as abordagens pedagógicas utilizados no ensino fundamental, bem como identificar as principais características da prática pedagógica dos professores e sua relação com diferentes propostas curriculares de formação inicial. A pesquisa proposta caracterizou-se como um estudo descritivo-exploratório, coma intenção de descrever a ação pedagógica dos professores de Educação Física. Participaram do estudo sessenta e três professores, sendo quarenta e seis de escolas estaduais e dezessete de escolas particulares. Os resultados apontaram que a maioria dos professores prioriza o ensino dos esportes em suas aulas, apesar de trabalharem com conteúdos diversificados; nas aulas dos professores com formação mais recente destacou-se o trabalho com os conteúdos relacionados à atividade físicae saúde.

ABSTRACT

This investigation’s general objective was to verify the contents and the pedagogical approaches used at elementary school as well as to identify the main characteristics of the teachers’ pedagogical practice and its relation with different proposals for the initial formation. An exploratory descriptive study was conducted with sixty-three teachers, forty-six from state schoolsand seventeen from private schools. The results show that most teachers prioritize the teaching of sports in their classes, despite the fact that they work with diversified contents; in the recently graduated teachers’ classes, the contents related to physical activity and health were highlighted.
