RESUMO
Atualmente nessa primeira década do século XXI, existem no país aproximadamente 55 mil leitos psiquiátricos.

There was a displacement of the practice classicalpsychiatric for practice of care done in the community, and more specifically with the family. Then, with basein this perspective, the present article has for objective to provide a reflection critical about questions referentsthe Reform Psychiatric that placed an point of interrogation about method curative of knowledge medicatesand in the stigma of the insane person presents in the society. The query begins especially from the fact ofthat the patients suffering from mental illnesses is delivers to family without the due knowledge of the realnecessities of the same one, in material, psicossociais terms of health and quality of live, aspects these, deeplyintegrated. In this direction, the present work concludes that is necessary to do the (re) integration of thepatients suffering from mental illness with the patient's family, since that the same one is prepared for this, oppose it, the simple return of the patients suffering from mental illness for home, little will for its totalreestablishment together the society
