Exercício profissional do assistente social: da imediaticidade às possibilidades históricas / The social worker´s professional practice: from the immediacy to the historical possibilities

RESUMO

Este artigo tem por objetivo problematizar o exercício profissional buscando denunciar seu caráter sincrético no cotidiano e, por meio da análise ontológico-crítica visando à totalidade histórica, conectá-lo à historicidade, ressaltando a crise estrutural do capital e a transição histórica como solo fértil para necessidades sociais radicais, potencializando o exercício profissional crítico vinculado à emancipação humana.

ABSTRACT

This article aims at questioning the professional practice by disclosing its syncretic character in everyday life. Moreover, using the ontological-critical analysis to intend the historical totality, it aims at connecting the professional practice to historicity, and it stresses both the structural crisis of the capital and the historical transition as fertile soil to radical social needs, potentiating the critical professional practice linked to the human emancipation.
