RESUMO

This paper wants to call the readers attention to the fact that our built environment, individual homes, public buildings, and gardens, mirror our body and psyche, because, as Winston Churchill said, we shape our dwellings and our dwellings shape us. This means that there is a very important interaction between our inner world, our soul, and the outer world, the man made environment. Everything we do or shape in the outer world has a feedback on our physical and psychic condition. Therefore we must learn to care and take responsibility not only for our inner world but most importantly also for our outer world (AU)
