ABSTRACT
The association of creativity with mental health is widely discussed in psychology. Among the benefits, there is an increase in well-being. This paper aimed to review the international literature on the relationship between creativity and Subjective Well-Being (SWB) in the Capes, PePSIC, and SciElo databases. From the combination of the descriptors "well-being" and "creativity", 143 articles were found, of which 18 were analyzed after considering the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results indicate the predominance of studies that identified the relationship between the constructs. The stimulation of creativity favors the increase of SWB and the relationship of both variables with other constructs such as motivation and personality. It is concluded that understanding the relationship between creativity and SWB is fundamental developing strategies aimed at promoting mental health.(AU)
