A análise institucional do discurso como analítica da subjetividade / Institutional discourse analysis as an analytic of subjectivity

RESUMO

A presente tese de Livre-Docência visa à sustentação teórico-conceitual da análise institucional do discurso como método de pesquisa em psicologia e como estratégia de pensamento para intervenções concretas junto a outras instituições e mesmo na clínica psicanalítica. Tal sustentação será feita pela definição de um objeto à psicologia, aproximado da psicanálise (as relações do modo como são imaginadas e simbolizadas pelos que as fazem), e pela interface desta psicologia, assim definida, com a sociologia da análise de instituições concretas, a lingüística pragmática da análise do discurso francesa e o pensamento de Michel Foucault a que ambas se relacionam, de alguma forma. Da sociologia, tomamos o conceito de instituições como práticas ou relações sociais que se repetem e se legitimam, na ação mesma de seus atores; são seus efeitos de reconhecimento e desconhecimento, no plano das representações, que dão o caráter de legitimidade, de naturalidade, ao que é instituído (Guilhon Albuquerque). Da análise do discurso francesa, os conceitos de gênero de discurso, comunidade discursiva e cena enunciativa permitem pensar a linguagem como discurso e, este, como ato de fala cujo sentido só se pode apreender pelo contexto em que se produz, pelo dispositivo social que o matricia (D. Maingueneau). De Foucault, a concepção de discurso como ato, como instituição, que circula e que é, ao mesmo tempo, alvo de relações de poder, coloca-se como a maquinaria de produção de saber, de verdades e de subjetividades. ABSTRACT

This thesis aims to sustain theoretically and conceptually institutional discourse analysis as a method to psychological academic research and as a conceptual strategy to concrete actions in other institutions, including psychoanalytic clinic. This sustentation will be done by the definition of an object to psychology nearby psychoanalysis (the relationships as we can imagine or symbolize them) and its interfaces to sociology (concrete institution analysis), to pragmatic linguistic (discourse analysis) and to the ideas of Michel Foucault. From sociology we take the concept of institution as social relationships that repeat and while repeating, get legitimacy, in the action of the institutional agents; effects of recognition and disowning make the instituted becomes genuine and legitimate. The discourse analysis gives us the concepts of discursive category, discursive community and enunciative scene to work with language as discourse and speech act; so, the meaning of what we say is determined by the social context. From Foucault we learn the concept of discourse as act, as institution; the goal of power relationships, the engine that produces knowledge, truths and subjectivities. The institutional discourse analysis that we propose is a strategy of thinking limited by these conceptual fields. This method has been constructed for twenty years by researches and works at different social institutions. So, its basic characteristic is that psychology is done between and throughout other knowledge disciplines. We consider psychology an institution that can be recognized by its agents as a genuine and legitimate set of procedures and theories. (...)
