Influence of continuous nursing mode established on WeChat platform on treatment compliance in aged patients with hypertension / 心血管康复医学杂志

ABSTRACT

Objective:To explore the influence of WeChat continuous nursing on the treatment of elderly hyperten-sion.Methods:A total of 116 aged hypertensive inpatients admitted in our department of cardiology from Jan to Jun 2022 were randomly and equally divided into routine nursing group(received routine nursing)and continuous nursing group(received additional Wechat platform continuous nursing based on routine nursing group).The blood pressure,quality of life,self-care capacity and treatment compliance were compared between two groups on three months after discharge.Results:There was no significant difference in blood pressure control and score of The Medical Outcomes Study 36-item Short Form(SF-36)between two groups at discharge,P＞0.05 both.Compared with routine nursing group on three months after discharge,there were significant rise in SF-36 total score[(531.01±22.54)scores vs.(555.34±29.43)scores],score of exercise of self-care agency(ESCA)[(129.65±17.23)scores vs.(161.02±14.29)scores]and treatment compliance[(79.89±8.02)scores vs.(96.23±8.04)scores],and significant reduction in abnormal blood pressure rate(34.5%vs.17.2%)in continuous nursing group,P＜0.05 or＜0.01.Conclusion:The continuous nursing model established through WeChat platform can signifi-cantly improve the quality of life,self-care capacity and treatment compliance,and help to control blood pressure in aged hypertensive patients.
