ABSTRACT
With the social economic progress in recently past years transmissibly communicable disease prevalence have progressively decreased but a variety of disease including hypertension common in developed countries have become largely distributed. An investigated conducted in some mountainous, plain and seacost areas in North Vietnam. Year 1999 showed a prevalence of hypertension of 16,05%. By WHO standard of sampling in more 25 years old subjects, from 2001 to early 2002, the prevalence in Hanoi reaches 23,20%, in Thai Binh 12,39% and Thai Nguyen 13,88%. Associated to hypertension, there are various risk factors such as cerebral arterial complications, heart failure, kidney failure with large importance of development
