ABSTRACT

Objective To determine the collagen deposition in adventitia of venous wall and the influence of removal venous thrombus by Fogarty balloon catheter on venous wall at different time.Methods The collagen deposition in adventitia of venous wall in inferior vena caval thrombosis in rats, and the injury of venous wall caused by Fogarty balloon catheter removal of thrombus at different time were observed. Results Collagen deposition in adventitia of venous wall increased with time.
