ABSTRACT
Objective:
To apply the Needs Analysis theory to the medical English teaching of Chinese medical corps(11 clinicians) assigned to Papua New Guinea.Methods:
The teaching contents were arranged based on the questionnaire survey on the 11 students.A learner-centered interactive teaching method was adopted.ResutlsAfter training in our school for half a year,the 11 students had a significant improvement in medical English level,including the four skills-listening,speaking,reading and writing.ConclusiongNeeds analysis is necessary in the ESP(English for specific purposes)teaching.
