ABSTRACT
Objective:To explore therapeutic effects of amlodipine and atorvastatin calcium tablet(AACT)on essen-tial hypertension(EH)complicated coronary heart disease(CHD).Methods:A total of 184 EH + CHD patients treated in our department from May 2015 to May 2016 were selected.According to random number table, patients were randomly and equally divided into amlodipine group and combined treatment group(received AACT treat-ment),both groups were treated for 12 months.Blood pressure, blood lipid levels, carotid intima-media thickness (IMT),plasma concentrations of nitric oxide(NO)and endothelin(ET)-1 were measured and compared between two groups before and after treatment. Results:Compared with amlodipine group after 12-month treatment, there were significant reductions in levels of systolic blood pressure[(135.0 ± 3.9)mmHg vs.(129.0 ± 4.1)mmHg],di-astolic blood pressure[(87.0 ± 4.8)mmHg vs.(82.0 ± 4.1)mmHg],total cholesterol[(5.44 ± 1.09)mmol/L vs. (4.31 ± 1.03)mmol/L],triglyceride[(1.59 ± 0.50)mmol/L vs.(1.01 ± 0.55)mmol/L],low density lipoprotein cholesterol[(2.89 ± 0.35)mmol/L vs.(2.12 ± 0.22)mmol/L]and plasma ET-1[(50.9 ± 5.3)ng/L vs.(47.0 ±6.7)ng/L],and significant rise in levels of high density lipoprotein cholesterol[(1.19 ± 0.21)mmol/L vs.(1.44 ± 0.21)mmol/L]and plasma NO[(70.8 ± 6.9)μmol/L vs.(129.1 ± 4.1)μmol/L]in combined treatment group, P=0.001 all;there was no significant difference in carotid IMT between two groups(P=0.980).No severe ad-verse reactions were found in two groups. Conclusion:Amlodipine and atorvastatin calcium tablet can significantly reduce levels of blood pressure and blood lipids in patients with hypertension complicated coronary heart disease. It possesses stronger protective effect on vascular function, which is worth extending.
