ABSTRACT
Objective:
To study the chemical constituents from the roots of Lindera aggregata. Methods:
The compounds were isolated and purified by various column chromatographies. Their structures were elucidated by means of spectral analyses (MS, 1D-NMR, and 2D-NMR).Results:
Fourteen compounds were isolated from 95% ethanol extract of L. aggregate. Compound 1 was isolated as a new one and named as bi-linderachalcone (1), and the other compounds were identified as methyllinderone (2), linderone (3), pashanone (4), pinostrobin (5), methyllucidone (6), pinocembrin (7), 5,7-dihydroxy-6,8-dimethoxyflavone (8), lucidone (9), ethyllucidone (10), cinnamic acid (11), pinostrobinchalcone (12), cirsimaritin (13), and β-sitosterol (14), respectively. Conclusion:
Compound 1 is isolated as a new compound and compound 13 is firstly obtained from the plants of Lindera Thunb..
